Club Membership Required on Specific Events

We have added an Advanced Option under Club Membership Discount Pricing that requires membership in a club for specific Events. This can be very useful for Clubs with their own race series who might have a specific Event like a Club 10K that is separate from the Open 5K. It can be a tool for increasing Club Membership and make membership more valuable.

It is in the Advanced Settings under the Club Pricing in each Race:

New Club Imports – Emailing Family Members

When clubs move over to RunSignUp, they can import their members, including multi-person or family memberships. When new members are imported into RunSignUp, they need to “Claim” their account – so that it is matched up with a real userID in the system.

Imported multi-person memberships now get set up as sub-accounts of the primary user.

On the club membership page, there is an action for “Member Account Cleanup”. Clubs should use that to clean up any previous imports. It looks for users on a multi-person membership that are not claimed and sets them as a sub-account of the user that is the primary member of the membership.


Note: When sub-accounts are set up probably, claim E-mails will only go to parent users.

Club Website Contact Form

We’ve added the Contact Us form that we have for race websites to reduce spam. Rather than an email address for the club showing, there is now a contact for, which will be forwarded to the club’s email address:

Note we have seen some aggressive shirt and other vendors actually going thru these. WHile this won’t prevent all of them, at least it will stop the robots 🙂
