We recently had a race that wanted an option to pick a random response to the question of which officer they were running in honor of since there were 900 officers that could have been chosen. This can be setup in the Question setup page:
This shows as a button during registration:
Note also, that if a large number of options are available, a Search button will appear:
We have added a way for races to allow or require registrants to upload files during registration. This can be used for races that need to collect medical certificates, result verification forms or camps/events that need permission slips.
Registrant File Uploads can be enabled by following these steps:
- Go to Race>>Registration>>Registrant File Uploads
- Click Add A New Setting
- Give your file upload setting a name, select allowed file types, add a description and choose if this setting is required for all participants or optional.
- Save the Setting
Once the setting is enabled, the file upload process will appear at the bottom of the Registration Questions page during registration.
Full Race Directors will be able to view and download any uploaded files from a participant’s registration record in the back-end of RunSignUp.
We have expanded the Participant Report to easily do a search based on Custom Questions. We added a button on the Search All Fields to filter on Questions.
When this button is clicked, all of your custom questions that have optional answers (not free form word answers) show:
Note only one field may be selected at a time. Note you can still download a spreadsheet to do additional filtering and sorting.
We have added the rich text editor we make available elsewhere to the Question Additional Details description. For example you can over-edit like this:
There is now an option to create questions that are only asked of Corporate Team Captains. The option is a simple checkbox under each question in the Race -> Registration -> Questions setup page.
We have made the Additional Details that you can put in Custom Questions into a scroll box. This is useful for the Waiver example we mentioned in this blog post.
We have added an option to position the Question Answers below the “Additional Details” in Custom Questions. This is useful for when races may have more than one waiver:
This is simply a new option at the bottom of each question in the race director dashboard:
