We added a new option that forces all participants for a specific event to become Fundraisers, but to skip the steps to set up and customize their Fundraising page. This speeds the registration process and maximizes the number of participants who will do some fundraising. The participants are sent a follow-up email that gives them a link to customize their Fundraising page. The setup is on the main Donation Setup page.
When this option is set, they will be given a chance to join a Fundraising Team if they wish. The team joining can be optimized by the Advanced Fundraiser Setup option to customize the joining of the team.
As noted, you should test this setup since there may be required fields such as fundraiser minimums.
