Partner Website – Automated Race Pages

There is now an option to automatically create pages for all the races in your Partner Website. This means as you add and change races, you do not need to do any changes to your website. They automatically appear in your Upcoming Races Calendar and when people click on the links in the calendar they stay on your website and go to a new page that has the race page widget automatically included.

When someone clicks on a link for the Turkey Trot above, the auto-generated page appears. Note it appends the same standard URL that RunSignUp uses on our website to optimize for Google search – https://bobbickel.com/Race/NJ/Moorestown/MoorestownTurkeyTrot

Screen Shot 2016-01-27 at 10.46.13 AMFor a more advanced setup, we offer some really cool features that are perfect for Race Series. In this example, we will use the Grid View of Upcoming Races. We will also be using the location and image set up with each race under Miscellaneous Settings. The result is a nice looking grid of locations and images:

Clicking on a city above leads to an automatically created page (of course you can direct it to a different “cover” page for that location). The auto-generated page picks up all the style of the Partner Website:

This capability is useful for timers or for major race series to have a much more dynamic site that requires less work to update.
